Collective Memory

These images, on the surface of this sculpture of an upside-down rose, portray the many associations with the rose. There is an image of Gertrude Stein, an image of a Georgia O'Keefe painting, one of a bouquet, one of a corsage and many others. Around the bottom are images of candles and prone long stemmed roses indicative of a memorial.
